Gold Bar Pie

Prepared graham crust for 9” pie

Ingredients for 1st Layer
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup chopped pecans

Ingredients for 2nd Layer
3 eggs
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 squares unsweetened choc melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup corn syrup


Preheat oven to 375º. In food processor combine all 1st layer ingredients. Process till smooth then pour into prepared graham shell. Sprinkle with pecans. Combine 2nd layer ingredients in processor bowl (no need to wash it first). Again process till smooth then carefully pour over 1st layer in shell. Bake for 35 minutes or till centre is firm to the touch.
